My Review of Voices of the Faithful Book 2

Voices of the Faithful (Book 2) compiled by Kim P. Davis was created by Beth Moore. This is a book that tells stories about different missionaries and Christians from all over the world. There is a devotion for each day of the year and each month focuses on a different theme such as prayer, divine appointments, God as our loving Father, etc. There is an introduction for each month written by Davis and each story or devotional for the day is written by a different person from around the world. There is also a Scripture for the day as well as a prayer at the end of each day.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I like the way that each month is set up with a theme and gives you a focus that is consistent for that month. There is a wide variety of stories and devotionals. The stories range from miraculous to encouraging to inspirational to challenging.  As a Christian, it is a great book to serve as a reminder of what so many give up for the cause of their faith in Christ.
It should be noted that Beth Moore is the creator of the series and that she wrote the introduction of the book, but that she did not write any of the devotionals or stories shared in the book. Readers who are looking to read this as one of the books that she authored will be disappointed because she is not the primary author in this book.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys reading a daily devotional and who is looking for insprirational stories of heroes of the Christian faith.
